I may whine about aches and pains, as well as the fatigue brought about by baking Bean to perfection in my tummy, but I've always been thankful that my first trimester came and went without any morning sickness at all. Unlike my preggy-mate Nikki who had to deal with half a dozen hurl-fests on a daily basis, I only threw up once after I drank stale water.
I always thought that morning sickness was just one of those things that you had to deal with if you were unlucky enough to be afflicted with it, and that all you had to do was sit it out and have a pail nearby for the next few months. But apparently, too much morning sickness can take a terrible toll on the mommy as well, as Kate Middleton is sadly finding out at the moment.
